Senior Public Law Caseworker/Immigration Supervisor

Klevis Taho is a Senior Public Law and Immigration Caseworker accredited at the level of Supervisor.

After completing his undergraduate degree in law at the University of Hertfordshire, he has completed the Bar Practice and Training Course (formerly Bar Vocational Course) at City University and was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2011. In the same year he also completed my LLM in Commercial Law at the University of Hertfordshire with the grade of Distinction.

He specialises in a wide range of Immigration and Public Law areas which include:

Immigration: Asylum and Humanitarian Protection; Human Rights; Applications under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules; EU Settlement Scheme; challenging Deportation; Immigration Bail; British Nationality law; appeals before the First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal.

Public Law: Judicial Review challenges before the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court; challenges for unlawful detention and claims for damages for false imprisonment before the County Court and King’s Bench Division; statutory appeals before the Court of Appeal.

Klevis worked and assisted on a number of reported cases such as Odelola v SSHD [2009] UKHL 25; R (RS) v London Borough of Brent [2020] EWCA Civ 1711; challenge to the Rwanda scheme in June 2022 which included the matters before the Administrative Court of AC-2022-LON-001596, AC-2022-LON-001597, and AC-2022-LON-001600.

Qualifications: Degree in law/Masters Degree in Commercial Law/Bar Practice and Training Course
