Paola Nahaboo-Carranza

Paola is an Overseas Qualified Lawyer and Senior Immigration Caseworker accredited at Level 2 under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.

She is fluent in Italian and her mother tongue is Spanish.

Following completion of her undergraduate degree in law, she completed a Masters in Economic Law in Italy and a couple of years later she studied an MBA in the UK.

Paola has over 12 years’ experience in the field of Public and Private Immigration as well as Public Law with extensive knowledge in British Nationality Deprivation cases, primarily Albanians who claimed to be Kosovan.

She also deals with cases relating entry clearance applications and in country applications based on Family Life, especially under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules, Settlement, Unmarried Partner, Human Rights Applications, Immigration Bail, Deportation and Domestic Violence.

Paola often advises on Appeals before the First Tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal and Court of Appeal on all immigration categories.

Paola has also been involved in Judicial Review cases challenging the Home Office’s decisions before the Upper Tribunal and Administrative Court.
